Millburn, NJ High School to Perform Night of Jazz

music notesOn Thursday, 4/30, at 7:30 pm, the Millburn, NJ High School’s Music Department will be holding its Night of Jazz concert in the school’s auditorium. The concert is offered free of charge. The concert is being held in conjunction with the National Association for Music Education and International Association for Jazz Education’s Jazz Appreciation Month.

Concert-goers will be entertained by the Middle School Jazz Band as well as the Millburn, NJ High School’s Stage Band and Lab Band. The Millburn, NJ High School’s Saxophone Quartet will be featured prior to the concert in the school’s lobby. Pieces featured will include music by Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder, Chick Corea, Gordon Goodwin, and Clifford Brown.
