Millburn, NJ High School Places First in Regional Science Olympiad

On January 11, Millburn, NJ High School took first place in the Regional Science Olympiad held at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. NJIT has hosted the event since 2007. Millburn, NJ High School now has the opportunity to compete in the statewide Science Olympiad.

The Regional Science Olympiad consisted of 13 contests including water bottle rockets, launching elastic gliders, and building bridges. Supervisors of the contests included NJIT professors, students, and officials from such companies as Northrop Grumman Corp, UPS, and PSEG. Over 700 Northern NJ middle schools and high schools competed.
