Millburn, NJ High School Autism Awareness Club Fundraiser a Success!

Millburn, NJ High School Autism Awareness CycleThe Millburn, NJ High School Austism Awareness Club raised over $1400 during their fundraiser, “The Awareness Cycle” held at SoulCyle on Morris Turnpike, on Friday, 2/7. SoulCyle in Short Hills, NJ sponsored the event.

The club will use funds raised to continue in their quest to raise autism awareness at both the school and the community at large. They also hope to help spread the message of compassion, understanding, acceptance and inclusion for those with autism.

Additional events Millburn, NJ High School’s Autism Awareness Club will sponsor is the annual school dance-a-thon in March and several activities during April’s Millburn Autism Awareness Month. Such activities will include distributing blue light bulbs and decorating Millburn, NJ High School hallways in blue as part of the Autism Speaks’ International “Light It Up Blue” initiative.
