Holiday Festivities in Chatham NJ

Visit the Cora Hartshorn Arboretum on Saturday and Sunday, 12/17 and 12/18, for Hot Chocolate Hikes! Guided hikes will be given through the grounds of the Arboretum, departing at 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm. A donation of $5.00 per person for ages two and up is suggested. Look for signs of animals in the forest and warm up afterwards by the fireplace in the historic Stone House while enjoying a hot cup of cocoa! Dress appropriately as most of the time will be spent outdoors. Register online at .  The Arboretum is located at 324 Forest Drive South, Short Hills, NJ.

Guests will enjoy arts and crafts, bounce houses, a PlayMaze, pictures with Santa and prizes and giveaways. Local children’s author, Felicia Chernesky, will be visiting the event and will have various activities and games inspired by her new book, “The Boy Who Said Nonsense”.  The cost of the event is $12 for non-members and $10 per child for members.
