Meet the Team!

Meet the team… Rio Slaven!

In the third of our Meet the Team series, get to know RIO SLAVEN!
When Rio and Shannon got together earlier this year, they discovered that they shared a mutual belief that no dream is too big and that there is no better feeling than knowing you are helping to change people’s lives. As the Expansion Director for the Shannon Aronson Group, Rio is spearheading the expansion of the team into new markets, starting with the Tri-State area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
Rio’s entrepreneurial spirit and passion for building top-performing teams stem from her decades-long experience of working with both large, financial services organizations as well as game-changing technology start-ups. Her love of real-estate and helping families with one of the most important financial decisions of their lives brought her to Keller Williams Realty —the only real estate company that dreamt as big as she did.
In 2011, after more than fifteen years of living in Manhattan, Rio and her husband Julio, fell in love with a sweet and sun-filled 1930s center-hall colonial in Short Hills and immediately set about restoring it to its former charming glory. When not busy with searching for the most talented and passionate people to join the team, Rio loves traveling and spending time with her friends, and her husband and their two lovable and goofy rescue dogs, Sonny and Fredo.

Meet the Team!

As the first in our series of Meet the Team posts, we invite you to learn a little more about Shannon Aronson…

Shannon has lived in Short Hills for eighteen years, and her three sons have all benefitted from the Millburn school system, and the activities and athletics offered in the community.

Education is important to Shannon, and as such she is now in her fourth year as Chair of the Board of Trustees for Millburn’s Education Foundation. Shannon also makes her mark further afield; through Solstice 620, the foundation she created with her husband David, Shannon organizes humanitarian relief efforts in Guatemala.

Did you know? Shannon is a singer and used to sing for local band, “The Mood Swings.”

Shannon and her team have won many accolades and ranked in the top 1% of producers in the state every year since 2009. Shannon believes this is, in large part, due to the concierge level service provided to their clients.

Insider tip? Shannon’s favorite area restaurant is Maplewood’s Lorena’s, her favorite watering hole is Moonshine in Millburn, and her gym of choice is Vita Athletics in Summit.

What’s next for Shannon? This fall, Shannon’s book “Don’t Give It Away” is being released. Written with the seller in mind, “Don’t Give It Away” is a guide to navigating the home selling process successfully, while keeping potential stressors to a minimum.
