The concerts will take place on the Recreation Department’s new mobile stage in Taylor Park, at 100 Main Street, Millburn, NJ. All concerts are free to the public and begin at 7 p.m.

The summer concert lineup is as follows:

July 7: The Kootz, playing “Rock and Roll with Fiber.”

July 21: “The British Invasion Tribute” playing your favorites from the Beatles, Dave Clark 5, the Stones and more.

August 4: The Characters with their fun rock and roll show for the entire family.

All Sunday concerts have rain dates of the following Sunday. Rain date announcements are available by calling 973- 564-7096.

Millburn Short Hills, New Jersey is a great place to live! Every year, Millburn, New Jersey, hosts the Presidents Cup Night Race. This year, the event was held on Monday, 6/17/13. The 34th annual race had Millburn bustling!

A record-breaking 1500 runners participated in this year’s race! The overall winner of the race was Ken Goglas of Port Reading, with a time of 15:08.

The event started with registration in the parking lot at Charlie Brown’s Steakhouse. A Kids Fun Run was held first and then the main event. The course of the race looped twice through downtown on Essex Street and Millburn Avenue.

Sponsor Samuel Adams provided race participants with a beverage outside Charlie Brown’s following the race.

The spirit of the evening was summed up well by Michael Cohn of Michael Cohn and Associates, who said, “ For 34 years, this event has drawn people from all over the state and beyond, from hardcore runners to people just out having fun. People get to experience downtown Millburn and hopefully come back again.”
